We do place cookies, small data files, on your computer to try and enhance your shopping experience with us. This allows us to remember your favorites, shopping cart items if you choose to leave and return within 7 days, and your shipping information. This information remains on YOUR computer, not ours, and only information necessary for shipping and payment is transmitted to us.
We use a secure check out provided by Global Charge and information sent to them by you is protected by SSL, secure socket layer, technology which is a method of encrypting information moving over the internet that is virtually impossible to crack. Your order information, including Credit Card information is then transmitted to us at Paper Pieces by Global Charge using military grade encryption. We will send order confirmation information back to you using the E-Mail address that you provide to us. This confirmation E-Mail will be sent without encryption, but will not include ANY Credit Card information.
All information sent to us to process an order will be kept by us on our off line computer system and not stored on our web site where it might be hacked.
If you choose to use regular E-Mail to send an order to us, we ask that you NOT include any Credit Card information in that E-Mail, but rather call us at 1-800-337-1537 with your credit card information after receiving from us confirmation of receipt of order.
