Lost and Found, 2020 quilt along by Paper Pieces!

Instructions now available!

Have you ever lost something in a move? After five years, we are excited to show you our “Lost and Found” quilt, which was packed away in our move to Paducah, Kentucky, and only recently discovered in a box labeled “Basement”.

This quilt was designed to showcase Kaffe’s fabrics. The blocks have a complex look but are really quite simple to construct, only using 1”, 2” and 3” hexagons with 1” filler triangles. The large lattice pieces allow the blocks to stand on their own and really shine!

The Lost & Found Fabric Kit contains a vast assortment of rare and hard to find Kaffe Fassett Collective Fabrics, as well as 1 Yard Aboriginal Dots for Triangles, 1-5/8 Yards Aboriginal Dots for Lattice, and six Modern Solid Charm Square Packs for the 1” Hexagons. Find yourself searching through the prints for fussy-cutting opportunities and playful color combinations to make a variety of stunning blocks.

Join the Lost & Found 2020 Quilt Along. Each month you’ll assemble two of the blocks, and the last month will cover final assembly. Supplemental instructions will be published on the 1st of each month, exploring topics from fussy cutting to color theory.
